As recommended by 'Rainsong' over on the AGF Live Sound Forum, I recently added these 3way puppies to a Mackie 808S for my daughter's budding acoustic/vocal group.

As vocals/harmonies are her and her playing partner's strong suit, they seem like a super match, clear and remarkedly rich.
I suspect they wouldn't support much heavy bass end pounding but, given that they're 16 yr. olds playing in a converted basement music room, that's fine with me.
