it shouldnt last too long
it would seem to depend on acceptance of the "dings" he describes.
it looks like a great low cost, starter type guitar.
I have no connection to the seller, just thought a forum member may want a shot...

That is a good price.
I have an L-03 and it is a great guitar. Very versatile.

yes I would a great guitar ..... miss her so much.
Must have been a heck of a knock to mar it up like that under the pickguard. But $450 for the guitar with h/s case on a 'Buy it Now' is a good deal.

If I didn't already have my L-03E, I'd be tempted. I can't imagine the ding on the top affecting the sound much. That's some pretty tight grain on the top too. I bet that thing would be a cannon with some med. gauge PBs on it.
remember....it's also a narrow neck model (1 11/16)

Just pull off the clear pickguard and put on a tortise PG.

Hey, guys i am the seller. It was a pretty good ding, but it still sounds and plays real nice. i am one of those people that can't live with my guitars being dinged up, and i thought about putting a greven or someother pickguard on there but i would still know it's there. personally, it just rubs me the wrong way but if someone can deal with it they are going to get a really nice guitar at a great price.
I can tell you though, i brought my 10 year old cat to the shelter. i was so mad and i was tempted to leave him there, but alas, i brought him back home, gave him some catnip and had a beer.
like mazareth mentioned, i haven't really noticed a real change in tone since the ding happened (about a year ago), the guitar is currently set up with d'addarrio ej16 (11's). it is a cannon with those on there and with a setup for med's.....wwhhhhheeeeewwwww.....it'll be sweet!!!!!
i forgot to mention in the auction that it was in a humidified and temperature controlled environment as well. i take good care of my guitars, this one was just a freak accident. if any one has any more questions or would like some more pictures, email me @ thepriest555@yahoo.com.

I actually measured it last night, it was dead nuts on 1 11/16. How about the OM's of this time? OM's are all typically 1 3/4, wonder if larrivee did this pre-2001.
Also wanted to update and let everyone know this guitar sold with the BIN.
All the 03 guitrars back then had 1 11/16" nut. Later on, Larrivee changed the L-03 and OM-03 to 1.75" nut, left the D-03 alone.
Great price, someone scored! :SHK>
