Title: FS: Breedlove Quartz KF Mandolin
Post by: Guvnor on November 09, 2005, 05:56:00 PM
I am selling my Breedlove Quartz KF Mandolin.  This mandolin includes the original TLK case.  In addition, I replaced the tuners with pearl tuners and replaced the truss cover with a cover that has an abalone design.  Please e-mail me at mes15@dcx.com for pictures.  The condition is pristine.  Asking $650 plus $20 shipping.

perhaps this would be best handled in private? not very cool to flame someone and then post their personal information on a public forum.    It appears above that Carl sent an email 20 minutes after the mando was posted......it's possible that the seller noticed later than Carl was first.

I wholeheartedly agree.  It won't do anyone any good to do this in public.

I am sure that there are at least 3 sides to this story.

Perhaps asking, either publicly or privately, why this happened would be a better approach. Base your reaction on the explanation, not the assumption.

I hope it works out OK for all of our members. We're all swimming in the same pool, so let's try and keep the water clean.  :POL>

Alright, I deleted my complaint.  I'm sure it was just a misunderstanding.  Hope you enjoy the Mando Newstrings, it was a great deal.   -Andrew

Hi Roknroll,

I just went back and check the time on my first email to Guvnor and it was sent exactly 12 mins. after he posted the mando for sale.  As quick as I saw the posting, I started typing an email with my intent to purchase.  I'm not sure what went wrong, and I in no way wanted to be caught in this dispute.  I felt my dealings with Guvnor were professional, honest and sincere.  I understand your disappointment and concern and I hope this matter gets resolved to your satisfaction.

e-mail me at mes15@dcx.com for pics.

Work 248-576-4145
Home 586-776-7195          That's the message he sent to me confirming the deal.  As you can see, it was recieved by me 6 mins. after he posted his ad.

Well, not to be nit picky, but I recieved confirmation that he would sell the guitar to me 6 mins. after he posted.  I contacted him as soon as he posted the ad.  I'm just wondering why he confirmed he would sell it to me, then change his mind and sell to you.  I obviously was first to inquire about it.  Now can you see why I'm confused?  Although newstrings was fast to respond, I was faster.  And now i'm getting the shaft.
