Hi everyone. I need cash. That's the short version.
The slightly longer version is that I need to sell my guitars to get that cash. Already sold off stuff from another hobby and since I can't dedicate the time needed to improve my playing, most of the guitars I have must go. I mean really, someone that's played as little as I have having the guitars I do is pretty much just plain silly. So here they are...
Larrivee L-03 BW
Purchased this from a forum member several months ago when it was still quite cold. This is the one I'd like to keep even more than the forum guitar. Previous owner upgraded with a bone saddle and nut. I'll get some pictures taken over the next couple days for anyone that want's them. $800 plus shipping.
Larrivee Forum Guitar (version 1)
This is Number 2/17 from the first round of forum guitars. The one I received is a spruced topped guitar. Pictures comming... $1,000 plus shipping.
Taylor 314CE L1
This guitar was made in November of 2003 if I remember correctly (I'm at work right now, just let me know if you want a serial number and I'll post it when I get home). The L1 is a spruce topped Koa body guitar. The unique thing about this guitar is that unlike other 3xx series guitars from Taylor, this one has a full gloss body. This guitar has a cutaway with the ES installed. As with the others, a lightly played guitar by this guitar newbie. $1,400 plus shipping.
Epiphone Les Paul Standard
Just a regular old epi - heritage cherry burst is the color. Includes a hard case. $450 plus shipping.
I'm still at work right now, I will try to take pictures very soon for anyone's that interested. Make your offers and ask your questions. Thanks for your time...
Ron
Email & PM sent. Cheers, Doug

Ron,
That is absolutely and positively against everything we stand for and contrary to the spirit of the Forum. GAS is no respecter of talent levels. Someone like me who sucks big time has an inalienable right to amass a wealth of fine guitars just like people who can actually play them! :WNK>
'Nuff said!
Sent email requesting L-03 BW pics, did you receive? :UND>
good morning everyone. i apologize for not being more reactive to questions and picture requests. i ended up not being home for a bit and have not had the chance to get any much less send them out to people. unless i'm at the office for a rediculous amount of hours again, i'll get it done this evening. thanks so much for your patience.
cybernator, i did get your email, and i will respond! sorry for the delay.
dbirchett... thanks for the encouragement. i may end up keeping that bw, as i do enjoy fumbling with that one much more than the others. if not, i'll simply end up with a less expensive larrivee.
doug, i receved your email as well. and i believe you did send me an email some time ago. i even held on to it for quite some time but ended up getting rid of it at some point thinking... nah! i'll never sell it!!! 'eh. times change sometimes...
thanks for your time and patience everyone.

Hey Arsenic, sorry you have to get rid of some of your guitars. I think I am in the same boat as you are, maybe a smaller boat! I am a rough beginner and I enjoy good guitars. I can see that it would be easy to get too many, but there is a rush to opening the case on a high quality guitar. Let alone the sound and feel of actually playing as you learn.
Mostly, I think the guitar has been a social vehicle for me and I've made a lot of good friends because of that and my meager mandolin plucking. As a forum, I think we should be encouraging people to play and learn, that's why positive members like dbirchett--among countless others--are awesome.
So, the bottom line is I hope you don't clear out all of your guitars. Hang in there and remember that you are not alone when you think you are the only beginner in the world! ^_^

Ron,
Another email and PM in your box.
Cheers,
Doug
Absolutely keep the blackwood if at all possible. Particularly if that is your favorite.
if some kind soul(s) purchase the forum guitar and the taylor, that's exactly what i'd do db. unfortunately it seems like everyone wants that blackwood!
the others are still available folks....
ron
The one I least wanted to see go is going to a new home. Treat it well Honkeytone.
Cybernator, I apologize for leaving you in the lurch - honkeytone and i had actually started this conversation a bit ago.
At anyrate, the L-03 BW is sold.
The Taylor and Epi are still available. The Forum Guitar is going to stay with me for a while I think. The only way the forum will go is to trade it for a all mohogany forum guitar, or a blackwood om body guitar.
Thanks for looking everyone.
Ron
All I can say is, GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR  GDI
Hey Cybernator, post pics of your 09bw...I've never seen a gloss blackwood. :UND>
Don't know if this is Cybernator's but this is one Dave had for sale at one point.
