I know we have had some server problems recently that affected that database that this site runs on.  I found out last night that the company that hosts this site has been sold to another company, and apparently service has gone downhill.  I've submitted 2 tickets and have not been answered yet.  

I'm in my last week of grad school, but as soon as I'm finished next week I'll be moving the site to a new host.  I had planned on doing this earlier, but the previous owner of the hosting company was very good about addressing my problems and was always immediately available.  That's no longer the case.  For now we may have to put up with some occasional outages, but it will be fixed.  I'll try to get everything back to normal as soon as possible.

I heard on the radio earlier today that a lot of forum sites in the US are under attack right now. Let's hope the pests are called in for supper by their mothers soon.
