Not really an electric guy but a good guitar for couch playing

Good guitar for the money

I had one of the cheapest ones they make in seafoam green that I turned into an Esquire.  Absolutely insane guitar once I get it dialed in (which didn't take much).  Still kick myself for selling it off. 

Early in the year I got a $580 Fender Tele Acoustasonic. Even lower on the food chain than MIM, this is made in Indonesia. But I'm not a snob about that as they've been guitar factories for decades. This is the best playing guitar I have, am so impressed with the neck. However it needs a lot of tweaking to sound close to an acoustic in my living room so I don't pick it up much now, but I can see the day coming when my hands will tell me to . . .
