My first and only acoustic guitar up until now has been an Alvarez Mountain dread that I got when I was 15 or so, that is now over 30 years ago.
Stopped playing for a decade or so then came back to playing electric. But I just wasn't finding myself inspired by it anymore, I just play at home and currently live in an apartment which doesn't lend itself to that either.
So, I've decided to give up on electric for now, sell my LP Special and my small practice amp (Carr Raleigh) and over the weekend I picked up my first Larrivee, this P-03R JCL Special.
I've been interested in the Larrivee Parlors for over 10 years, looked at them heavily once before but never pulled the trigger. I've always though that one would be perfect for my needs, small compact guitar I can sit at home on the couch with and play comfortably. Thankfully local shop had this along with a couple P-01s and a 000 and 00 to compare to. Kept coming back to this one, just felt and sounded right so I pulled the trigger and couldn't be happier with it.

Lovely! Welcome to your first Larrivee (probably not your last!) :nice guitar:
Beauty! I love the tasteful but artistic rosette and headstock inlay.
She's a beauty! Welcome to the family!

Ditto! Congrats on a nice guitar!
I had to do a search on your model and came up with this 14 month old forum post on the exact same model https://www.larriveeforum.com/forum/index.php?topic=56366.0
Good that you hung in there after fading on electric, hope you enjoy it a long time. :nana_guitar
Welcome and congratulations on your first Larrivee, Slide13.
My first Larrivee (so many years ago) was a parlor, too.
I can't understand why everyone doesn't have a parlor guitar.
Here's hoping you get many years of enjoyment from your new guitar.
:nice guitar:

Cool, thanks for that! I didn't find too much about this exact spec so it's nice to see another one!
And thanks again all, really loving it so far and so glad to finally have a Parlor, it's exactly as awesome as I always thought it would be. So much good tone in such a little package.
Welcome and congratulations!! :welcome:
Love my Larrivee parlors too.
