Just stumbled on this recent recording of Sarah performing. 2nd song she picks up the Larrivée.

That's awesome! First concert I ever went to back in the 90's was Sarah McLaughlin and The chieftains at The Mann Music Center in Philadelphia.

I don't know if she is petite, but that guitar looks like a dread on her. Is it a C body?

Yeah, that's a C model. I've never seen one in person. A quick search says she's 5' 7".

Actually that guitar she is playing is identical to mine. Mine is from 1982, and is an L-28. Great guitar, bought it new from Iron Music in Vancouver in November of '82, still playing it daily.

I've never played a Larrivee from that era, unfortunately. That one sounds quite nice in the video. Gorgeous too.
