It's cool to see someone thinking so far outside the box.  I bet that thing is a joy to play.  Have to admit though, the aesthetic would be a deal-breaker for me. It's just... too weird-looking.

Whenever I see the neck joint getting messed with, I'm out. I do applaud people who try to take the guitar forward though. I'm no traditionalist and I'm tired of companies just copying the same ancient designs. Sure, many of them are great, but failure to go forward is not going to save the future of the instrument. I just wish the creative designers didn't all start by messing with one of the most critical contact points, the neck joint.
