Hi all,

Registered to ask if anyone has ever bought anything from the B-stock/demo sale?  How noticeable are any cosmetic defects?

They really sell blems but, when they do, it's typically minor and nothing to do with sound quality.

As far as how noticeable, only someone who has inspected that specific guitar can tell you.

How did you find these?

Are UK customers able to buy these or do they need a dedicated link or is there no option for UK customers?

FWIW, they used to do periodic in-person sales at the factory. B-stock, unclaimed customs, etc. I wonder if this is replacing that.

I would feel very comfortable buying one of these. There's no way Larrivee would send out guitars that are sub par in terms of function and tone.

There's no lefty list, it's just on the Larrivee website when you click on the link that jasonchamb sent.

Honestly, don't know how I got on it. Maybe it was an option when I registered a lh guitar, or joined the regular email list?

This was the first lefty-centered email I got, which was great, since I'm always jealous the B-stock etc is all right-handed.

I'm on the mailing list but never get this hmm. No biggie, but if I got this list I might have bought a few more!

You can call the service line and talk to John jr directly to purchase these. I'm shocked they aren't all sold.

He can ship them to Europe as well. FYI.

I called and placed an order and asked while I was at it.

I joined the players club mailing list.  First saw B stocks being offered last year. I signed up for Canada and the US so I could see what all was available. I live close to the border so could get either if something caught my eye.

My hesitation was buying in USD. But now I see they are allowing you to call in and purchase them in CAD.

Newbie to here. But usually on the 2 Facebook groups. There isn't a lot of activity on there these days.

I personally have 7 acoustics and would love to downsize to 3-4 select acoustics but it's so hard to buy buy more Larrivee!

Occasionally, guitar stores and sellers try to push their inventory on this forum and use it for advertising. Our forum moderators try very hard to keep these people off our forum. Hope you understand the concern about your earlier posts. Anyway, welcome to the forum!  :welcome:

I'm not a guitar store.. but is there anything wrong if it helps Larrivee move their stock? If so, perhaps this forum should just shut down?

I mean if people don't seem to care if Larrivee is able to sell guitars or not.. or take exception to sharing the links.. what's even the point..

You're proving my point about forums not necessarily being the funnest place to be. Especially with heavy handed moderation and unfriendly posts.

I play lefty and was talking with my dealer about not knowing what to get next or if I even needed another instrument. He sent me this list from the lefty link here. He did tell me not to share this with anyone, I don't know why. There was nothing on the list was considering. Now that I know they are B stock I wouldn't be interested anyway.

Oh. I'm sure dealers don't want to compete.. but B stock cosmetic blemishes are someone can live with for a steep discount. Some people can't handle any blemishes and that's fine too. Especially if they won't ever play it.

Dealers won't buy off the list because it's pretty much the same price as they pay for A stock.
