Title: New (to me) Martin 028VS
Post by: maplebaby on June 13, 2025, 05:50:44 PM
Kind of had the 'slot head fever' lately.  Doc says no cure.  It started with this one, a 028VS.  There is def something about the whole 'slot headstock' thing.

Nice - slot head is definitely very very cool. I like it...

That's a great looking guitar and the simple clean lines really set it apart and should bring you years of enjoyment.

10 years ago, I ordered a 12 fret, short scale 000 from Martin's Custom Shop. I added a slotted headstock, premium Sitka spruce top with 1/4" scalloped bracing and a three piece mahogany back and sides. These upgrades were well planned in advance and worth every penny.
