A little Gypsy jazz this morning.
Familiar, tasteful, sparkling.

I really like this kind of music. I wonder how this type of guitar differs from a regular acoustic with the way the strings are attached to the lower bout, the different type of sound hole. Is that a moveable bridge?

Yeah, I have zero experience with that style of gypsy guitar build. I just associate the design with Django Reinhardt.

I geeked out online over this style of guitar for a while but never actually found one in person to play.  I got some gypsy jazz strings and put them on my Larrivee and it was a train wreck.  Way too light and just all wrong for a dread.  On the other hand, I discovered you can get very close to the sound of a Selmer-style guitar on a dread by playing really close to the bridge with a thicker pick.  Try it out.
