Title: Got another deep cut here for ya'll
Post by: Sandstorm on April 30, 2025, 02:20:29 PM
Greetings,

Just finished recording another cut, this one I wrote in the late 90s and it's evolved over my playing career, more so as I've focused on acoustic guitar in the last few years.

I used a Gibson Hummingbird for flat picked parts and some strumming and my OM40 to accompany with some variation of the parts playing fingerstyle...sprinkled some electric here and there.

I welcome your feedback

Wow!  Let me congratulate you on creating possibly the most unique piece of music I've heard.  My brain truly has no reference point or anything to liken it to.  It's Eastern-sounding in a lot of ways, and next moment it almost sounds like Def Leppard joining in on cranked electric guitars.

The harmonized electric parts are very cool, and sound pretty complex — so nice chops!  Lots of cool layers of acoustic guitar going as well.

Man, a strange yet beautiful piece of music.

The Greek title sent me a-googling.  Very cool concept.  Well done!

Thanks for listening and appreciate the comments.

Enkoimesis sounded more interesting than Egyption Sleep Temple...

With the name and artwork, makes me think of King Crimson type stuff.
