Brought home a new to me 2004 DV-05 yesterday. This guitar is on point. This will be my 4th Larrivee and I'm hoping this is the one that stays around. This is my first Larrivee with a cut-away and I'm not normally a cut-away type of guy, but when I saw and heard this guitar at one of the GC's in town, I quickly lost that bias. This will also be my "oldest" Larrivee purchase to date . . . Are the early 2000's thought of as a "better" period for Larrivee? Maybe it is just the body shape plus the age/opening up, but this is by far the best sounding Larrivee I've played. Today, I have a snow day, and I think that the shoveling can wait . . . I got a new Larrivee to play!
Play on brothers and sisters.

Congratulations! Would love to see a picture of that beauty! I'm betting that it has aged beautifully and must sound gorgeous. Play it a lot!
I will get some pictures up later today. Gotta play a bit and then shovel. As a someone born in Northern Wisconsin and raised in Minnesota, I see snow and I gotta shovel . . .it's a thing, I guess.
