Title: 19 Series
Post by: Sandstorm on September 30, 2024, 04:12:48 AM
In the last email newsletter from Larrivee there was a new line called the 19 series that looks to have some 70s detail on a new production line.

The rosette looks very classical in design and the headstock has Eagle inlay and torch and flame fretmarkers.

It looks to be a very signature, classic Larrivee guitar.

The 24 series seemed to be to somewhat Gibson inspired in some ways like the 40 series was Martin inspired whereas the new 19 series seems to double down on the Larrivee heritage which I'm more excited about.

Anyone else have some thoughts on the 19 series?

Thoughts on the 19 series?? YEAH! I'd love to have an L-19!!! They look wonderful. Whoever has that much money to spend will be getting a cool retro Larrivee.

There's also an L-11 model.  It is categorized under the Reissue series on the main page.

I like the maple neck binding on current models and the ivoroid is a nice change, looks very classic.

I too really like our maple binding, but the dark/tortoise ivoroid looks pretty neat. Hopefully no cracking issues like the Martin's went through! Wishing their was a Larrivee dealer anywhere near me to check out the new stuff!
