Another one bites the dust. I liked him quite a lot. Do a couple of his songs. RIP Jimmy.
This one broke my heart this morning. I know he got commercialized and the music can be corny, but Buffett was one of the main reasons I got into guitar. He's gone too soon, but man did he squeeze every drop out of life!
He brought of energy to his performances and I include three or four of his tunes too. He will be missed.
Made a living, and a brand, out of having fun. The Great Peanut Butter Conspiracy was my first exposure ("running up and down the aisles of the mini-mart sticking food in our jeans..."); my brothers and I played it at every possible occasion; birthdays, weddings, funerals, whatever.
RIP, Jimmy.
