I was saddened to read of Gordon Lightfoot passing tonight.

Thanks Gordon for a lifetime of great music.

Some of the first songs I learned on guitar as a teenager were his. Loved his comment about the documentary done about him...and I paraphrase; "I was disturbed that nobody had anything bad to say about me." RIP

A huge loss to the music world.  Some of my first songs I learned to play were Gordon Lightfoot tunes.

Yes to everything people have said about Gord and his music. Loved him and his music since I first heard him in the '60's. Safe to say he's one of the reasons I play guitar.
