I just discovered New Orleans guitar player Snooks Eaglin. He's mostly a blues player, but apparently a fantastic session player and he's fantastic! I highly recommend taking a listen.  Unfortunately, he passed away a few years ago, but his music is all over YouTube and the internet.  Here's a great song:
