I'm an old forum member. I'm 75 and live in North Carolina with Mary, my wife of 43 years.
We moved to Mexico and I sold all of my acoustics except one carbon fiber guitar. That was back in 2012.
Prior to that I owned many fine Larrivee's, SD-60, SD-50, LS-09 Maple, om's, parlors... too many to remember.
Since moving back to the states I have gotten several acoustics. I had an SD-60 again but it was a little too big so I sold it. The only Larrivee I have is the Forum VI.
The Forum VI is one of the best guitars I have owned and I have owned Santa Cruzes, Huss & Dalton, Morgans and this Larrivee is right up there at the top of the list.
I currently own a Webber RB (Eng/Rw) and an Eastman AC-722ce (European sp/Rw)... both are really nice.
My user name on the AGF is E-OM... good to be back on the Larrivee Forum...
I must say that with the addition of this Larrivee my gas flames are extinguished. The flame is not even smoldering.
Welcome back, glad you were able to snag the Forum VI guitar. They are amazing instruments... check out some of the old threads of their creation. Lots of neat behind the scene pictures of the process. :welcome:
Welcome back home.
You really should go back through the threads on the Forum VI, you'll likely see your guitar in the build process, which is kind of nice.

Welcome back.
I believe the genesis of the FORUM VI guitar started out as a hat and one of the forum members suggested a guitar instead to John Larrivee. Over the span of a few weeks, the idea morphed into a guitar that 16 members agreed on and Jean Larrivee found enough Moonwood Spruce and Walnut to build 19 guitars.
This was a case of being in the right place at the right time and 16 orders were received. I ended up with #12 and added a Venetian cutaway and Anthem Dual Source pickup. I convinced a friend of mine to jump on board and he ordered the exact same guitar. The extra 3 guitars were ultimately purchased by other forum members who were late to the party.
Good luck.

Well.... not that far off....
John Jr. said "it's been awhile", and Bard said "how about a 12 fret in walnut"....
Someone said "no tee shirts". Then it became a blur.
