L10 Koa preform with
J05 the best I ever own but do to shoulder issue i had to move it on in trade for an LS10
OM03 black wood stolen by friend he still has it.
LS10 had to sell it to pay bills.
C-10 Koa
DV-10 Koa
OMV-10 Koa
Parlor All
LV-5 Maple
Sold the OMV to a friend who had to have it, sold the Parlor for a CA Cargo to travel with and traded the LV-5 to get the C-10 K
Still own and thoroughly enjoy the C-10k and DV-10k...do I miss the others?...,Hell yes!
I won't get too specific, but the best Larrivees I've played have been dreads and 12 fret dreads.
It's kind of like asking "what are your favorite 5 ice cream flavors". LOL

:bgrin: ^This.
It would be easier to think of which ones I don't like. But, in the case of Larrivee I guess that would be a short list. Specifically 0.
Very short list for me as I've only played 2 and own them both...
14 fret OM-03
12 fret F VI
I only have 4 of them.
I'll work on that.
Okay, I'll play.
From the Larrivees I've owned over the past 29 years, here's my Top Five:
1. 1992 OM-05 - my first is still my #1. It will stay with me as I downsize into retirement in a year or two, and it will probably be the last Larrivee to leave the nest on down the road.
2. 200? LV-09 - I owned this guitar around 2004/5, I think. It had incredible, solid bass - sounded great tuned down to D and even C. Balance, volume, clarity. Dumb to sell it!
3. 2010 RS-4 - Mine was a Root Beer Burst; beautiful woods and build, great tone. I got gas for my first Martin and sold it - another dumb move!
4. 2015 L-05 Custom - I won't go into the story behind this one, but it's a reminder that everyone should have a hog L-body! Beautiful guitar (wonderful neck!), but I sold it. I really should contact the buyer and see if I can buy it back...
5. 1979 L-19 - Because everyone should also have a Larrivee L in Rosewood, too! This one has beautiful old EI Rosewood. Nice, full neck, and balanced rich tone. This one is also sticking around for as long as possible.
I've owned - and own - a number of other Larrivees (acoustic and electric). All have been good to great guitars. Which made limiting it to five tough. (For example, the Forum VI might make the list someday, after it matures and opens up...)
I love my 1999 L-03K. My first "good" acoustic. I sounds fantastic, perfect intonation, excellent feel/action.
I don't have a top 5. I've owned three, and briefly played several others. But my favorite is easily my L-03WL ...
