What kind of pickup is in the guitar?

Hi Mike,

I use a Schertler Magnetico AG6 pickup coupled with a Schertler S Mic M. Schertler is a Swiss company and I have really been impressed with their quality and attention to detail. Will absolutely be using this same set up on the much anticipated Forum VI.

Historically, I had LR Baggs pickups installed in most of my guitars, but I decided to see what else was out there while my OOO-40R was getting built in Oxnard. Talked to several industry folks and had noticed some friends of mine playing Schertler in the Grand Ol' Opry band. Love the sound, ease of use and how it cooperates with different pa/stage set ups.

Ended up working out an artist endorsement deal with Schertler and have been running my guitar and vocals through their "David X" amp...killer solo acoustic set up!
