A similar situation came up HERE (http://www.larriveeforum.com/smf/index.php?topic=54108.0) a few days ago that maybe of interest to you, though the LV-10 is a little "nicer" guitar it puts you in the lower end ballpark

On Reverb, they're going for from $1450-$2k plus for a used L-09 in great shape..
