Title: Any Short Scale Larrivee OM or OOO Out There ?

Hi,

I'm researching short scale OM's (or perhaps 000 size), and wondering if Larrivee makes any ?  I have a '96 OM-09 12-fret which is awesome, and would like to perhaps add an OM 14-fret short scale (24.75 is what Larrivee has available).  Would appreciate your thoughts!

I could be (and usually am) wrong, but I think OO's and parlors are the only short(er than usual) scale Larrivee's out there.

I always thought the LSV-11's were short scale...

My 2009 00-03 SE is a longer scale instrument. Maybe that's why it's an 'SE'... Sam.

They've made both 25.5 and 24.75 (I believe) OO's.  I think one run, they did both.  SE means they were Special Edition.

Larrivee LSV-11s came in long and short scale.

Years ago Larrivee did a small run of parlors with 24.75" scale length (for a shop/dealer that ordered them).

You can special order any Larrivee with the short (24.75") scale length for $350 - it's in the Option Price List (https://www.larrivee.com/pdfs/Custom%20Option%20Pricing_v6.pdf) on their website.

Wow, i paid $400 out the door for my new special edition Flamed Maple Parlor (100 made) with the short scale in 2004. Had five to choose from but only one maple.

I saw a used one on consignment at Elderly about 10 years ago in maple. Trinity Guitars sold a bunch of them in 2004 2005 time period.

Standard scale for Larrivee parlors is 24". Is that what you meant, or did you get one that has the 24.75" scale length? That would actually be "long scale" for a Larrivee parlor!
