Title: question about gifting a guitar
Post by: DaveyO on April 09, 2020, 12:51:00 PM
I would like to find an aspiring guitar player to gift a guitar to.
I can't call the local school music teacher cause the schools are closed.
Any ideas? I just know that there are people out there who can't afford
Luxury like guitars, but who desire to play
Anyone ?

There are charities that buy/take instruments and give them to kids attending music programs to help keep them on the right path. I don't recall any names off the top of my head but I can look some up if you need. One of my customers is a fellow in the UK who donates his time to teaching kids like this.

Nearly every school teacher has a published email address through the school's name website. I would start there. If that doesn't get you anywhere find a local church youth group leader.
