Title: Bought my children some instruments for Xmas.
Post by: Silence Dogood on December 05, 2019, 12:38:55 AM
My oldest son plays guitar (a LarrivĂ©e of course) and some of my other children have been showing interest in music.  I got the one of my sons a Kala ebony tenor ukulele.  I read lots of reviews of ukes and this $200 instrument seems to get good press.  It looks really cool with striped ebony (lam) body and black tuners.  Hasn't come in the post yet but will be here soon.

I got my 7-year-old son one of those 3-string Loog acoustic guitars (red).  It hasn't come either but will be here soon.

I'm hoping these turn out to be decent instruments and that they will make some lifelong players out of the recipients.

Hope it fairs out well. Certainly greater desire to learn guitar is required for today's youth as more distractions and the cool factor ain't so hot anymore

Look like you got yourself a band very soon with all these diff. instruments. I think it is fantastic. Merry Christmas.
