Yes, indeed.

I gave the address at our local Memorial Day service this morning. It was a privilege and honor to do so, especially since I'm not a veteran myself (my dad [23 years USAF] and brother [10-12 years Navy] were). I'm just a grateful military brat who "has it in my blood".

Thank you, veterans, and thank you to those who made the ultimate sacrifice, giving the one life they had to give. May the way we live as citizens of this nation honor them.
