Hello all. Reluctantly listing a 1-off l-09 from early 2000s that a friend of mine sold me some time ago. It is in immaculate condition...would say mint but there are pickguard scratches. (I'm the second owner) Wonderful sounding guitar with a perfectly intonated setup whether you use lights or mediums, play in DADGAD or standard. Semi low action. Has an LrBaggs Anthem Sl already put in for live performances.

Some of the things he customized with the factory were:

-Flame maple fretboard binding vs the normal ivoroid
-"10" series abalone fretmarkers and bridge inlay without the full body binding
-Englemann spruce that Larrivee has since stopped using due to small supply of quality woods, really sweet, sustaining sound in the trebles when fingerpicked and an open, mature tone when strummed (John Mayer has used Englemann exclusively on all his Martin models)
-nicely figured Claro walnut that adds a nice Woody sound to the midrange, Kinda like mahogany but more growl.

I might regret letting this one go but I have loans to pay off and my other l-09 is my main workhorse...

Hey Canadakid, I wouldn't mind but I may need to ask for additional funds to cover shipping, my experience selling to CA has usually put shipping at $150 after the fees and whatnot. Feel free to PM me a reasonable offer if you like. THis guitar really has a unique, special sound to it. Would prefer it went to one of the fine folks on his forum

I'm glad it went to someone who can appreciate it!!! It had medium daddarios on it btw, forgot to email you back. I sure miss it. Such a cool sound in the midrange
