But since my subject is about pictures, I'll put it here.
As many of you know, I have a few Larrivee guitars, (like others on this forum).
And as many know, and because of my GOTM record, I like taking pictures of them.
I was wondering if there could be some way to have a gallery (or two) of specific pictures of our beloved Larrivee guitars.
Some folks might have headstock inlays they wish to show off.
personally, I am somewhat intrigued by the different wood bindings used, against the different tone woods, and how striking those colours behave and compliment each other.
The flame maple bindings against rosewood, the Koa binding against other woods, etc.
Just thought I'd toss the concept out there.
I might add a couple of my own favourites with in the next few days, after I get a feel for any others' response on the subject.
what there is over 10,000 members on this forum, must be a lot of incredible close ups of this kind of thing...

This is a pretty old thread but it can be revived for anyone who wants to show off photos of their headstock inlays. http://www.larriveeforum.com/smf/index.php?topic=5385.0
You can start a new thread inviting people to show off nice photos of the different binding / tonewood combos as well as things like interesting rosettes, etc.
Get the ball rolling and I'm sure others will contribute. I have a couple I'd post too.
I agree with TtheP.......just start a thread about the topic you want. For instance, you could start a thread about bindings

:? Only Larrivees or any make?
You have some nice variety, Walkerman. :+1:
:laughin: It has to be a Larrivee family album.
Last time I talked to Jean, he opined that he may start routinely using wood fretboard binding. Wouldn't that be cool.
