Here's a few pics of my new Larrivee D-60 that I got for my big birthday...
I picked this up while Jean was at Wildwood music last month.
She's getting along well with my L-19.
Here she is...

:nice guitar: She's a beauty! That headstock shape caught me by surprise...almost "Martinesque" with those sharper corners. The hand carved headstock backside is really a nice touch! :beer
That's a beautiful guitar. Congratulations. Love the headstock and volute as well.
What exactly are the tuners? Do the brass gears extend to the top as brass posts? Looks as though they may.
I love my D60! They are absolute cannons. I love playing mine in DADGAD. Very very nice guitar!
Tio, the tuners are larrivee I think. The gears do in fact extend to the top as the posts. I have these tuners on my OMV50 and the larrivee tuners with ivoroid buttons on my D60.
Here is a link to the tuners:

Well, hello.
I am a new member to the forum and this is my first post.
I already have LV03RE but I would like to get D60E in the future.

:nice guitar:
Looks a lot like my new OM-40. Starting toreally appreciate the features of the 'Traditional' series.
I have LV03RE, and I like it.
However, I would like to get me D60E!!
One of these days..

Thanks for the comments folks...
The tuners also have a very nice etching on them... very elegant.
Hey Pancho... Welcome to the forum! ...thanks for the donuts!
I just put a K&K mini in it last night... I will be playing at a little open mic type thing tonight...
I can't wait to hear how it sounds.

A L-19 and a D-60 living large my Friend!!! :nice guitar: s
Nice guitar.
Bill, thats a real :nice guitar: maybe you can get a recording of it tonight at that open mic. Congratulations again. :beer
Well they had a packed house last night... lots of talent.
I played 4 songs, 2 flatpicked, 2 fingerpicked.
During the set a couple of people in the audience made comments on how nice the guitar sounded, so I responded that I guess I'd keep it, then. :winkin:.
I had a very enthusiastic reception to my set and having been nearly 7 months since I've played out, it was really a good feeling to receive such a kind response. (sure has been a long winter...)
The guitar has a real nice tone and is extremely balanced from top to bottom... a trait that Larrivee is well known for.
I took some time last week to do a set-up on it (nut slots, saddle, truss rod) and it seems to be playing real nice.
I put mediums (13s) on it and all my other guitars have lights (12s) so it is taking a little bit of time to get used to that....
