Hello, eh! I've been spending lots of time on the AGF as Agnut, and figured since I my long, long battle with GAS has finally been cured by a Larrivee OM-9KK I should probably be hanging out here. I'm located near Lethbridge, AB, Canada by the way.
Welcome. :wave
I do recognize your username from the AGF. Glad you found a cure for your GAS with a Larrivee. My problem is it's so hard to have just one Larrivee :winkin:.
:donut :donut2 :donut :donut2 :coffee
Welcome to the Larrivee Forum Agnut!! There are some very nice folks over here just like the AGF only not as many Brand wars since we're all here due to our personal preference.
May I kindly suggest you give the rules an overview, it's kind of a tradition around here - otherwise the Forum Police will kindly come by to see you. You will get a pass however because he is a fellow Canadian! :roll
Speaking of which, I have driven through Lethbridge a few times on my way between New Mexico and Alaska where I reside. I love that area!
Welcome again. Oh yes, you're going to want to post some pictures of that OM-09KK. You're a lucky man!

Once again :welcome: look forward to pics of your guitar ( need 10 posts before you are enabled to post pics)

Hey Agnut, as JOYCEfromNS mentioned, you will need to have 10 posts on the forum before you are able to post pictures - so get busy! :beer
Hello from the heartland. Least that's what they call it here in S. Illinois. Glad to have brave souls like you Northers here. :wave
:welcome: Wow beautiful :nice guitar: I have never played all koa. I would love to hear it! :coffee
:cheers :welcome:
Glad to have you you here
Thanks everybody. What a friendly bunch!
Welcome, pull up a chair and pick a while...
GAS is like cancer.....it will never, ever be cured, it only goes into remission. You, my friend, will be having a bad case. The nicer the first Larrivee, the higher the bar is set. An OM-09KK? OMG, it'll be terminal!
I used to think about GAS like that too. I had it BAD for many years. I've gone through more guitars than I care to remember. Oh, this is not my first Larrivee! This is #6 to be exact. I've gone through a L-05MT, LV-05, OM-3RE, another L-05MT and a D-05. Furthermore... let's see... Gibsons: four J-45s (one with Koa back and sides), three J-50s, Southern Jumbo True Vintage, J-185 True Vintage and a Songwriter Deluxe. Martins: D-15M, D-18V, DC Aura Two Webber Roundbodies, Huss & Dalton DM, Ted Thompson T1 and a TM1, Stonebridge/Furch OM-24, L. Benito concert, Avarez-Yairi DY-??, Yamahas: LL-06, FG-160, FG-140, Harmony H-1260 and others not really worth mentioning... Not one of those guitars I have previously enjoyed (more or less) had me not think about wanting to buy something else pretty much immediately. This Larrivee is just that special... at least to ME.
:nice guitar:
I haven't hit my obligatory 10 posts yet, so I'm going to post links to a few photos I took yesterday:

However, IF I was to be in the market for another guitar someday I would definitely consider a L-series KK. :bgrin:
Wow! you have good taste in guitars AND a terrific memory! :welcome:
Beautiful koa!
