From one Duck to another, RIP Donald "Duck" Dunn. Damn fine bass player who will be missed. He played on so many great recordings, it's difficult to list them all. That band just keeps getting better.

Another loss, with his Bass playing being powerful enough to turn goat piss into gasoline

seeing him lay down that killer bass, all the while with a classy freeform danish pipe was a trip. the Blues Brothers movie was the first time i ever actually saw the man responsible for the sublime bass lines i had heard so many times over the years and never realized who it was.

a great musician who will be sorely missed. RIP.

Just at a loss for words.He was a very big reason i got into being a bass player.Solid timing,working with a drummer to form a tight rythm section.Even influanced my guitar playing.He will never be replaced.Rest in peace and thankyou.
