A good friend of mine is trying something new for himself on line, thought some of you might find it interesting.

That's very good stuff there. People should check it tells. Tells, and demonstrates different tonewoods.
Very interesting ! I'll wait for next episodes :+1:
This actually make more sense than "woody" or "dark"! I think this might be a regular visit for me now.

It was very interesting indeed. One thing that surprised me was that no mention was made of the fact that the Santa Cruz guitar was a 12 fretter. When they are talking about the different tonewoods and construction techniques; bracing, etc. they completely ignored this important feature that made the Santa Cruz different than the others they demonstrated.
Obviously this man knows his guitars and woods so, as I say, it's interesting that he did not mention that the placement of the bridge on this guitar could also have an effect on its tone.
An INTERESTING site for sure. Hope they become successful and have MORE guitars.
They have some great gits for sale too.

Thanks, I'll go have a look.

As the video states: this is about different woods in the same model of guitar (in this case the dreadnaught). When are they going to put it on their original site, acoustic addicts, http://acousticaddicts.com/?
Great information...

I just checked and it's there. They call it the "Martin Show" but it tells a lot! Good stuff.
I was impressed by the subtle--yet discernible--differences between the guitars. The fundamental was present in all the guitars, but how each guitar bloomed once played showed the differences.
I look forward to more shows.
I really find this site interestng. Will they be trying out some Larrivee guiyars? I would love to see an all mahogany guitar tried also.
