I was in Vail w/ my wife last week and we saw this guy perform. He plays a beat-up old OM and we talked guitars a while. One audience member asked him between songs whether his guitar was a Martin, and Dave gave a brief discourse on Larrivees, and named a few prominent people who favored them. This video does not give justice to the quality of his voice or playing, but it's all I could find. He sings with a wry character, reminds me of John Sebastian. If you get a chance to see him, you'll enjoy him.

Very cool!
Does he ever get down to Denver? Don't you know it's winter up there in the mountains?
f
ps/ sounds like someone I could relate to.
By special request here is American Pie from an ordinary guy just scrapin by....... Luv it. A great song tho written by his friend. Enjoyed it very much and would luv to see him live.
What is it he's playing an OMV 09 :?
He told me it was an 09, about 15 years old. No older than mine, which is close to pristine. But he's clearly put a lot more miles on it. Not the mosaic rosette, it was pearl or something like it. He said he'd really like an OM-10; couldn't tell you why. He got plenty of great sound out of the 09. I've never really seen that much difference among the models. I assume my D-50 (rosewood) from the mid-90s is similar to a D-60 today, but I wouldn't say it towered over the D-03R I had before.
