Title: Cherokee Guitar Company/New site/Rave
Post by: HAMFIST on January 30, 2012, 08:18:42 PM
So I am awaiting some stuff from http://cherokeeguitar.com/Cherokee Guitar Company (http://cherokeeguitar.com/), and I guess their e-commerce site is going through a bit of a refresh and expansion.

Look forward to seeing what they add, particularly since I just had an interesting experience with them.
I had originally ordered the horn bridge pins and a bone saddle. Turns out the horn bridge pins were out of stock, and they offered the more expensive bone pins at the same price.

Great! Wonderful! I thanked them profusely.

Then as it so happens, I had botched my shipping address while filling out the order form. Shipment is bounced back to them. The offered to re-send it via priority mail at no additonal charge. Outstanding!

I touched base today to ensure that they had gotten the parcel back in the mail, and they thank me for my patience and throw in a Larrivee T-shirt in the size I request.

I mean, I screw up my own address and get a Larrivee shirt? At this point, I would buy almost anything from these folks.

So needless to say, I am very much looking forward to the new site going live.

That's good to know. :thumb  I was thinking about ordering a bone saddle from them.

Got the saddles for my hog top and my dread from them. Traded the dread and now am opting for the bone saddle and bridge pins for the guitar I took in.

The saddles drop in usually with no alteration ... just need to sand for height. For my dread,  I think I needed to take a little off on either side to get the width right.

Just is nice to see someone really going out of their way to make a guy feel the way he wants to feel.

These are real good folks, I have met them at a Larrivee booth and they are great to deal with.
