I am seriously considering buying a Larrivee F 33 that is in a local store here.
Beautiful instrument and a joy to play.

Was wondering if I can find out when this one was made by the serial number (107944). The shop changed hands recently and they are not quite sure when the mandolin came in (they are a Larrivee dealer and ordered it new).

What I really am trying to find out is if this is a F 33V or not. They have it listed as an F 33 (no "V"), yet describe it as having a varnish "top coat".

Any info is much appreciated!

From the Larrivee site FOLLOW THIS HERE (http://www.larrivee.com/obtainManufactureDate.php) exactly and you will get the date you are after.

I think confusion has resulted from Buffalo Bros web page being outdated
