I posted a topic in/re my disdain for Martin guitars---it was evidently removed.  I didn't know that censorship of legitimate opinions was practiced on this forum---after all, I was NOt denigrating Larrivee, but a competitor.  Totally surprised on that action :(

I think that you will find this forum very open and honest.  We however do not trash other makes of guitars on the site.  I can not comment on the content of your post, but the forum administrator obviously didn't think its content appropriate for this forum.  Gripes about Martin's are best aired on Martin's site where they may do some good for the company to consider in product improvement.  

I think that as long as I did not use profanity, inappropriate language, or was not personally insulting that I had the right to speak my mind freely---perhaps I was mistaken.  :( :(

No, I like to post my feelings and opinions about the relative merits of one instrument versus another in an intelligent forum.  I also have a problem with gratuitous censorship, that is all.

Had I done that, it would be baiting Martin afficionados, and that would constitute trolling.  I was merely voicing an intelligent opinion, based on years of guitar playing and collecting expereinces.

It wasn't censorship, it was a mistake.  I was trying to move the topic to Other Guitar Makers (where it should have been posted to begin with) and I accidentally deleted it instead.  My mistake.

I don't want or plan to start policing every post, unless it is an obvious troll or has inappropriate language.  However, a post with no Larrivee content should not be in the Larrivee Guitar area of the forum.  This topic shouldn't be there either, and is being moved.

By the way, if you dislike your 47 Martin so bad, I'll gladly take it off your hands.  :D

A little off topic perhaps, but I'm still ignorant as to what is referred to as a "troll" in this instance.
