Hey guys. I just purchased my first Larrivee this weekend. It's a C-10 and it looks and sounds absolutely amazing. I'm glad I found this forum that I can use to learn more as there are not many people in West Texas who know about these guitars.
Welcome to the forum Zingo. I'm sure you will enjoy your C-10 for years to come. Pictures are very much appreciated here; so, when you have 10 posts, you should post some pictures of your guitar for us all to admire.

That has to be approved by the secret top dog. "TtP"
Hey guys,
One of the things I've noticed is that in pictures of other C-10s, the sticker inside the body has the model number written on it. Mine only says
Jean Larrivee Guitars, LTD
Vancouver
British Columbia
Canada
Is this due to my particular year or something?

The labels and stamping inside on the neck block vary a lot.
Hi Zingo,
Here's a collection of information about Larrivée Guitars (http://toonz.ca/bose/wiki/index.php?title=Larriv%C3%A9e_Guitars) on my website.
The C10 is among my favourites.
Wow. Thanks so much for the info guys. I actually called the number on the Larrivee website and the guy gave me a production date of 2/7/97 from my serial number. I can't put this thing down.

Thanks so much for the welcome. I purchased it used from a store in Dallas. It apparently belonged to a lawyer who was selling off his collection. I'm very proud to own it.
