The other night, at a good friend's 55th birthday and housewarming party, I pulled out my newly acquired Larrivée ukulele and discovered my true calling. On the fly and still figuring out how it worked and taking on almost all requests, I had an audience of about 25 people aged from 18 to 80 in the palm of my hands. Alright, I'm a sucker for approval but WTF? As far as musical niches go, this is not what I had in mind! :laughin: :roll
Duck, you've found your true calling. Imagine what it will be like when you've mastered the little beast. :bgrin:
Say it ain't so! :laughin:
If you ever get the chance to see James Hill play don't miss it. He is a wonderful young player and show man. He has his Ukes outfitted with a variety of pickups and body sensors to make them sound HUGE. I did a show with him and he absolutely slayed the audience.

Funny, I'm hardly "good" at this. At least not yet. Just strumming and picking out notes in the C major or pentatonic scale. I learned The Wind Cried Mary, yesterday. Works well on uke. Go figure!
Duck, you might be the next Roy Smeck...
Here's something to shoot for.............
