Well, my beautiful son has arrived, and my wife and I are elated. I need to sell my last Larrivee to make sure we have a few unexpected expenses covered.
I have cherished this one and have played it very little. It is essentially mint/near mint, and I am the first and only owner. No scratches, dings, repairs, or anything - and it was custom requested with the clear pickguard. Also has the cool Celtic looking logo on the heelblock. The woods are spectactular and live up to the "mastergrade" moniker. Sitka top is silky and tight-grained, and the rosewood is among the best I have seen for deep color and spidering. Tone is balanced and loud, as you would expect for a Larrivee, but with a noticeable edge in sustain compared to other models. Sounds great in dadgad. Cutaway gives comfortable fret access and looks great. But it is something to behold in the looks department - abalone is bright and shimmery, the inlays are well etched and set, and the wood details (purfling, maple binding lines) add elegance.
$1649 $1599 $1549 $1479, which includes standard UPS Ground and paypal. Also offering at $1529 with Gotoh 510 tuners in Cosmo Black - original tuners included as well. Current list is $4138! This means that it can be yours for about 40% of retails. Will ship oversees, but will cost a little more shipping, and you are responsible for your customs delays. Sale final for all and ships FOB Denver. I have done a lot of business on this forum and have good references.

Congratulations on your child! We have 6 and raising them is the most important work I have ever done. Good luck with everything. :beer

Yup I can favorably attest to that
Got my math wrong - $1649! :thumbsup
Beautiful looking guitar~
Bump!
Heck of a deal, I think. It is exactly 39.9% of the retail price right now (i.e., 60% off!), but also includes shipping and paypal!
I do need to move this one, so let's make it $1599.
I would so love to buy this guitar. It would be especially cute playing with my OM-21.
The problem is that I would have to sell my cherished Eastman OM and that would still leave me over $1K short. An LV-10, right here for the taking! Maybe when I awaken in the morning some good soul will have snatched it up saved me more despair.
Congratulations on your son, Michael. You're in for a great ride. Our three daughters are married and two of them have provided eight grandchildren for us. Hope you find a nice home for the guitar soon. It is beauty.

Wow... a real deal for someone. Bump for this beautiful guitar. Well worth the dollar. Those worthy, step up!
This is very tempting. If it's still around once some of these invoices come in I might just pull the trigger.
If I had a little extra cash, this one would not still be available! I cannot imagine it hanging around for long.
Bill
Thanks for all the kind words. I cannot believe it has not yet sold at this price!
I will up the ante one last time: $1549 shipped/paypal, OR $1599 with new Gotoh 510 tuners in Cosmo Black - looks sweet!!
Bump for FINAL reduction of $1479 - shipped and paypal. This is firm, but a steal of a price on a pristine instrument.
Hi Mike,
I sent you an email. Would like to know if you have received it. Thanks :)
I did not - please try again at michael.jewell23 AT gmail.com
Thanks!
Bump for a super silly price!

Sorry you're not getting any action MJ.....as I've found recently, you just about have to give things away these days! :crying:
Hope it moves soon for you.
"These days" is the only thing that's stopped my having this beauty shipped to upstate SC. Then again, if it were not for "these days," someone else would have already snatched it up! :bgrin: This is a really sweet deal for someone.

LV10 has sold - thank you all!
Wow... I have to say I'm relieved. This was too good of a deal to pass up. Whoever bought it just saved me $1500!!!

My thoughts, too!

You are getting what has to be a fabulous guitar and, yes, some of us are quite envious! Congratulations and enjoy.

Daaaammmmnnnnnnittttt :crying:
But seriously.......enjoy your new guitar, it's a beauty, and as a hobbyist I enjoy looking at pretty guitars as much as playing them. To me they are all works of art- now go make some pretty noises too!
:cheers
Got the Lv-10 yesterday. First, I have to say that Michael is indeed an excellent person to buy from - he truly went beyond what is required of him in shipping this guitar over to Asia. The condition is PERFECT, and the guitar came packed very securely.
The LV-10 is truly a different beast from its 03 cousin. I often hear that the -03 is but a less flashy version of the -10 series; this I must say could hardly be further from the truth. Cosmetics aside, and the fact the L-03's I've tried all seem to be louder initially, the L-10's sound is more refined and richer to my ears. The added-premium of the -10 is (personally) more than about the woods and inlays - to me, the sound is generally similar to its -03 cousins, but sonically more sophisticated.
One of the best transactions in my life, and I feel like a better contemporary singer-songwriter already just holding the sweet git :)
Thanks for the mini-review. Glad it got to you safe and sound. One day . . . .
Bill
