Title: Behringer ACX900 acoustic amp
Post by: Wrangler on April 21, 2010, 09:51:14 PM
So I've been thinking about getting an acoustic amp for my Larrivee. I've been using my BF Deluxe Reverb but want something a bit more respectful of acoustic tone.
I've been doing a bit of research and checking out some amps for under $500 and found a real gem for just under $300.
It has 2 channels, xlr, effects, perfect for small venues. And the reviews are pretty good.
I think the Prefix Fishman works pretty well with it. I may go for it:

I don't understand why so little is said about Carvin amps. The AG100D is a lot of amp for the $$$. There is a an auxiliary cab available if you need more sound than the combo alone provides. I have one and really like it.

Thanks for the heads up on the Carvin. Haven't heard of that one.
I'll try a web search.

That looks like alot of amp for the money.
You can even choose your cabinet covering color for less than a case of beer  :cheers
