Hi,

I am starting a composition project for voice, guitar and computer. In this project, i would like to record the guitar in 5.1. Did someone have done this before? If yes, where did you put the microphones?

My plan is to try 2 scenarios :

- the first using the internal pickUp as the center chanel, two small diaphragm cardioid condensers in front (L-R) and two large diaphragm omni (RL - RR) in the back of the instrument.

- the second will use almost the same but with a real mic for the center.

What is your experience?
