Saw Mel TILLIS a month or so back. He is still playing his custom Ovation
Al Di Meola is the ultimate Ovation Artist. Ovations have a crisp punchy sound that works well with Al's rapid fire playing. The tone of Ovations can not be described as beautiful but rather clean and articulate. As a bonus your Al Di Meola signature model looks very cool.
Full depth body?Very pretty and I agree with mas music,I've seen him live.
:+1: Cool model Rob!
Bowl-backs don't fit my posture well when slung....
Love the look of a glossy black guitar....
thanks guys, the only thing that i had to get use to was the round back, but you get use to it pretty quick
Bowl backs are no problem if your wearing jeans. However, pants with a slippery surface can present a real problem but There is a solution. Use a Classical Guitar style foot pedal under your right foot. This creates a wedge and keeps the bowl back from slipping. A trick of the trade from a former Ovationeer. :winkin:
