Nice guitar. Should be able to sell it without much problem. Be aware, however, that folks here are a little hesitant when the first post by a new member is a "for sale" post. Good luck with selling your SD-50.

I'm happy to be a part of this forum—I didn't know it existed until I decided to sell the SD-50, even though I've enjoyed my two Larrivées for awhile now.
Generally I'm loathe to sell any instruments—I've let some amazing things slip through my fingers along the way ('62 Jazzmaster, ''67 Stratocaster, '30s Gibson A-5 mandolin, '71 Martin D-35... oh boy). The SD-50 will get more attention elsewhere I think— I baby it to the point of not playing it often enough, while the D-60 gets a workout.
Looking forward to finding out what's doing with the other players here, and maybe picking up a smaller-body parlor-style guitar along the way.

I think most of us can relate to letting go of a great guitar because another great guitar is taking most of the playing time. My 000-50 sits idly by sometimes when I can't let go of my Forum III LS-03MT. Unless I really got into some financial trouble I don't think I ever be tempted to sell it though. SD-50s have a great reputation here so I'm sure there are some folks who will be tempted to take it off your hands.

Welcome to the forum. I'd love to buy your guitar but I would only hang it on my wall and wish my shoulder problems would go away so I could play it more. This is one of my favorite Larrivee models. I like the wider neck, the slot head and the sloped shoulders.
I hope it finds a nice ''new'' home soon. :+1:
Wow, great shots, and a nice guitar - I don't get it though why you play bluegrass, and have no use for "one of the best blue grass guitars" around. :wacko:

I'm afraid to put it on my wall, as much as I love to look at it... the bigger neck is actually an issue for me, and may well be the deal-breaker. I'm so used to playing a more "standard" sized neck that I find it difficult to adjust. I'm not so much a finger-picker, although it was my hope to go a little more toward the Jerry Reed end of things. I also play a fair bit of electric guitar, so I'm in shock when the big ol' 1-7/8" neck puts me in my place. Appreciate the feedback!
