I just received a parlor guitar that I purchased from a forum member and wanted to run the serial # to see what series it is. There is no serial # on the Larravee label nor does there appear to be a serial # in any other obvious location. Were there some parlors sold without a serial #? A little help from my fellow Larry owners would be greatly appreciated.

Look inside the sound hole. It should be on the neck block.

It should be just where Dave said. You may need a flashlight to see it fully though. I just emailed Larivee to find the "birth" date of my parlor, and it took them just one day to get back to me.
Thanks guys, I found it and will email Larravee for manufacture and series.

I've emailed Larrivee twice in the past 2 months, about the birth date of my D-03R, and they have yet to respond. Any ideas?

Possibly it got lost in the shuffle as they get 100's of E-Mails daily - try again I would suggest.
It sure would be nice if there was a databank that could be accessible by everyone to retrieve such info. Not sure how difficult that would be to set up BUT I bet there would be a couple of trusted Forum Members who would gratuitously partner with Larrivee to set this up. I'm sure it would cut down on their E-Mail demand. Just a thought.
