Up for sale is a seldom seen Larrivee 00-60, 2006. EI rosewood back and sides, 1-3/4" nut, and in very good condition. This is a comfortable and easy playing guitar with a surprisingly full sound for the size. I traded my OMV-50 for this a few years back because I thought that this was a better sounding and playing instrument. Price is dropped to $1400 plus shipping. No trade offers please. Thanks for looking.

Bump for a drop in price.

This is still available!?! All you slothead/rosewood folk need to realize just how rare and special this is!
Tad
That is stunning, gorgeous, tasteful, etc, etc.
I'm in love.
Nice price too.
:nice guitar:
Gotta love those slotheads! (until you try to string one).
Beautiful guitar!
Actually the trick to slot heads is similar to classical guitars. Run the string through the tuner loop it around once and through the hole again and pull tight, the finish tightening to tune.A little trick I learned from classical guitars...

I hit 10 posts!
PM sent.
Still up for sale.
I have to chime in here and say I recently purchased a 00-60, and it is one fine guitar. Loud, sweet, brilliant tone. And a very pretty guitar to boot. I would say if you are a 00 fan, don't let this get away. They don't come around that often. This is now my favorite guitar, one of two (1937 Gibson L-00, being the other), that I would grab if my house was on fire!

Thanks all for your kind words and help with the sale. Kind of makes me want to take if off the market. I've cleared out my inbox so free to send any questions.
Steve
Hey smm, I not actually new here - just been away for several years. There might easily be something obvious I'm missing, but I haven't been able to send you a message. Let me know if you still have this guitar for sale. Thanks!

Unless you've been here long enough to make 10 posts, you can't send a PM or see any profile email address (if the member has one).
You might want to post your email addy.

I'll answer. Larrivee's 00 is a standard scale length 25.5 inches. 12 fret neck.
I am going to have to buy a Second 00-60. Somebody is missing out on a sweet guitar at a nice price!

I agree Doc.....what I don't understand is all the fervor for the new Forum IV when for a few dollars more you could get this beauty!
gtrplayer
Thanks everyone both for your advocacy and the nearly 2,500 views. The guitar is still available and as beautiful looking as playing as ever.
Steve
I'll add my endorsement here too. I've got an 00-50 and it's a fantastic instrument.
I realise this might appear similar to the Forum IV but it has a lot of features that set it apart and this is a really great price.
I just don't understand why this has hung around so long - I paid a lot more for mine!
Chris
I wish this one were mahogany.
Good luck with the sale!

Just a final wrap up on this Steve did a great job describing the 00-60 and was looking at it with a very big magnifying glass. He wrapped it well and shipped it promptly. I thank him for kicking around until I could afford this great new toy. Rick.

Hasn't it been a long, hard climb !!
Congrats to you both, and to Rick, a fellow 00-60 owner. We are a small but distinguished group!
