OK - This is a real hard one, but my economic situation is forcing a few unpleasant choices -
Forum 3 (but un-numbered) LS-03 hog top, with herringbone trim. Really beautiful, sweet sounding, and I have a feeling I am going to regret this for a long, long time. Special Larrivee arch-top case that fits it very snugly.

Tad - too new to the Forum to be able to PM you or get access to your email address. If you could send an email to me at picktap@wi.rr.com, I'll email a couple of questions to you. Thanks.

$1350, shipped and paypal, CONUS. I'll try to get some new pics up shortly.
Email with any questions - the obvious one - only because I have a Forum 1 hog top, and can't justify both right now -

Wow, Tad I hope things turn around here for you soon. I'm a bit slow in my little business now also.
I'd love to have this guitar, but I need to sell a few others to swing it. If you could take a D-03 MTe in partial trade I may be able to swing something. (I know you must need cash though)
OK all you forumites who have expressed interest in a hogtop... now is your chance. The all mahogany version of these LS-03 12 fretters are real nice sounding guitars. I've got an original (#3) Forum III LS-03MT which is my daily player. I can only imagine how hard it is for Tad to let go of this one. Fortunately, he has other real nice guitars, including the new baritone, to keep him satisfied.
Tad, so sorry to hear that you're now selling your guitars. :crying:
To anyone who has even slightly considered either a hog top guitar or a hog top F3, now is the time. I had the pleasure of seeing/hearing Tuffy's in Vancouver and it was amazing.
I'm sorry, I wish I didn't understand how much it sucks, but I do and I'm sorry.
Thanks all - it is kinda sad, but it isn't as bad as it seems - I have the Forum 1 hog-top, and although the F3 with the herringbone looks a little nicer ( classic, traditional, whatever ) the F1 is wonderfully broken in, and the OM/12 fret is just enough different to eventually make the decision for me - Plus my F1 is #17, and my F3 rw is #17 - so it just seemed like it had to be -
My family is still in a much better place than so many people, and if I have to give up a few toys, I am in no place to complain. I have 8 Larrivee guitars - I will probably end up selling 4 or 5 of them in the next couple months, but these 2 are the the easiest of the lot to decide on. They are really great, and whoever ends up with them will be very happy - Besides, when we both find jobs, think of the fun I'll have searching for and buying new ones! Especially Forum 4 - I officially call dibs on #17 of the F4s -
What sucks is having to sell my iron - you know how hard it is to find this stuff? - but that's for another thread -
Tad
PS - one of the specials on this guitar is that I got an arched-top Larrivee LS case that fits it like a glove - a tight glove at that.
