Title: Larrivee L03 12 String Cutaway Mahogany Pristine $675 plus shipping SOLD
Post by: strawintogold on October 11, 2009, 11:47:35 AM
I bought this for my 'someday' list and now it's on my has to go list. It's pristine, strings are new, top is a bit darker with exceptional silking. Back is Mahogany and very pretty as well. Comes with Keyser Soundhole Humidifier and OEM case. The price on this will NOT drop. Priced for quick sale not any sort of reflection on the guitar. Hard to find particularly with the cutaway.

Will ship anywhere. Can't afford to guess at shipping so will invoice you for the shipping amount when it goes. So you'll need to pay the $675 and then whatever shipping is after that. Bit of a hassle, I know, but it's gotta be that way.

Bump for a great guitar at a great price.  Jump on it  :nice guitar:

I've played quite a few 12 strings and the Larrivee's I've played have been the best.

Sorry to see you selling off your guitars.

John

To all of those who are dreaming of a great 12 string, someone needs to jump on this one. The venetian cutaway is icing on top of the frosting. I played the non-cutaway version of this model in both spruce and mahogany top at Trinity three weeks ago.

I have one of these otherwise I would be all over it! These are fantastic guitars and this is a steal. I got mine at what I consider to be a great price and was happy to get it at that and this is considerably less.  :nice guitar:

If you are interested in a 12 string, this would be a great guitar. I bought an electric 12 and this one to me plays better. Anyone want to buy a Rickenbacker clone made by Unsung?

Glad somebody jumped before I did......great buy!!!
I was thinking the exact same thing . . . a terrific buy, no doubt (though I'm not so sure my wife would see it that way).  Well done all around.

I would be interested to hear your comments after you have had a week or two to settle in with it.

You might want to try and tune it down a whole step to D and give us your reaction to that too.

I had previously owned a Takamine 12-string dread, rosewood and sitka, that played well at normal tuning. I gave that to a player on our worship team when I picked up an older Larrivee C15 (L-body 12-string with florentine cutaway) that was also rosewood and sitka. The Larrivee played a little better tuned down a whole step. Alas, I sold her at an offer I couldn't refuse.

I had really been looking for a LV-12 sting in rosewood because my ear leans more toward the rosewood complexity. However, I've heard so many good things about the Hog 12-strings that I thought I would try it out. I will play both tunings, but this was a very low risk way of trying it out since Holly's price was so reasonable. I've been a year without a 12-string, so I'm a bit excited.
