Title: FS / FT: Huss & Dalton TDM Traditional Mahogany Dread
Post by: timvanderlaan on September 10, 2009, 09:48:07 AM
I really do love this guitar - its everything you could want in a traditional dread.  This Huss and Dalton TDM features a Sitka top, Mahogany back and sides, Adirondack bracing, aging toner, waverly tuners, bone nut/saddle, and very figured Brazillian Rosewood headplate.  The sitka on the top is very nice with a bit of silking and features one slight bearclaw above the soundhole (gives a little character).  The mahogany for the b/s and neck is very straight grained and is stained the perfect vintage dark color.

The nut width is 1 23/32" and the neck is extremely comfortable. The guitar is in great condition and the only flaws are a few slight buckle marks on the back (not through the finish). Other than those, the guitar is nice and clean

This guitar is LOUD and easy to play.  It has that great, bright woody Mahogany snap with a good amount of bass to go along with it.  Projects very well and has wonderful sustain.  It is set up with mediums and Ill toss a new set of strings on.  Comes with the original tweed case which is also in great shape.

I am interested in trading for a Collings D2H or other similar traditional dread.  The trade value would be about $2450.
For a flat out sale, Id look at getting $2100 shipped + paypal fees if you go that route.

So, even though I really do love this guitar, I have my eye on one that I may just love a bit more (you all know how it goes).
Thanks!
