(http://C:%5CUsers%5CIan_2%5CDesktop%5CIan%5CGuitar%5Cdonuts-400x300.jpg) Hello, folks. My first post here. Hopefully the doughnuts will show up but, to be honest, I have the computer skills of a cook. Here's some of the wee ones just in case. :donut :donut :donut :donut
Sooo...It's a fairly classic old git bedroom guitarist quandary I have here. Rarely played guitar for a few years while the rug rats were causing mayhem but have been catching up lately. I've got a howling beast of a 1980 Ibanez AR300 electric that's the best guitar I've ever played and a Simon Patrick cedar mahogany sp6 that I've enjoyed, but which doesn't come close to giving me the special intimacy that a man can have with a plank of wood. Sadly, as I find myself turning inexorably into an old git, I find the symptoms include a tendency to fingerpick rather than shred and I spend my time riding the donkey with the thoroughbred in the stable.
What I should do is sell them both, get a decent acoustic and a poke-em-in-the-eye shotgun electric for when the neighbours are out and I'm feeling angry. :winkin:
The SP6 hasn't put me off Canadian guitars and I'm thinking of buying a Larrivee C-02. Trouble is, I can't find out nought about it. I believe it to be 1997ish, Spruce/mahogany with cutaway, but don't have a great deal of knowledge beyond that. Any information would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

The C-02 in the ebay auction, is in fact a LV-03.
Thanks, both. I was driving myself nuts trying to find out what a C-02 was.
Anyway, I really am a cook, wasting time looking at guitars when I should be working out the menu for 70 Welsh politicians at a posh breakfast in a few weeks. Fresh doughnuts and apricots sprinkled with icing sugar? Is life really that serendipitous??
I'll let you know if this one works out, otherwise I'm off to join the Takemine forum.
Cheers
