Good Day fellow Forumites!
On the advice of another Forum member, I'm starting a new thread with new pictures! As mentioned in the original sales thread, I'm selling to cover medical bills and living expenses while I'm out on short-term medical disability. I'm cutting down to two gig worthy acoustics.
My firm price is $1200 + actual shipping (it was $80 when I purchased it), which is exactly what I have into the guitar. I really want this guitar to stay in the Forum family. I can take payment via check, moneyorder or paypal as long as you cover the fees. I prefer to sell to U.S. or Canadian buyer, but am willing to ship internationally if that's what it takes... If a non-U.S. buyer, you are responsible for customs/import fees and actual shipping. I've restrung the guitar with a new set of medium gauge phosphor bronze strings.
Thank you in advance for looking!
Here are the specs taken from Larrivee website:
Lower Bout: 15.375"
Upper Bout: 11.375"
Waist: 10.5"
Depth: 4.875"
Scale Length: 25.5"
Nut Width: 1 7/8"
Fretboard Radius: 16" to 21" Compound
Frets: Nickel Silver
Gloss UV Finish Body/Satin Finish Neck
The guitar is in the exact same condition as when it came to me. Here are the (minor) condition issues:
There a few small and light superficial finish dings that do not reach the wood on the guitar. There are two minor pick marks by the soundhole (which i could not pick up with the camera) one small finish ding by the bridge and one small ding on the underside of the side of the guitar. Also, the previous owner had trouble restringing the guitar the first time around so there are a couple light, not-very-noticeable nicks near the headstock. All in all, these marks are superficial, do nothing to compromise the structural integrity of the guitar, and are not noticeable to the eye unless you are looking for them.
This link is my review after extensive play of the guitar:

Thanks John,
Well I don't have it yet, but it got to the point that it was worth it just to end the anguish .
Thanks for the vote of confidence, I needed that. I have never played one so I'm only going by what I've read or heard online about this guitar so I'm hoping I'll love it.
Mark, I can be reached at (removed) .com.
Thank you,
Brian

Hi wisconsinred and hifibri,
Sent a response email to both of you.

Well after nearly four months and two separate listings, I finally get to write the words, "Sale Pending."
Ironically, I had two committed buyers express interest less than 24 hours apart from one another. I want to thank hifibri for being so gracious and understanding about me selling the guitar to wisconsinred. As I told hifibri, I literally went by the time stamps on the various Forum posts/emails to determine which offer to accept. The preceding is my good reference to any of you who may have dealings with hifibri in the future! :thumbsup
In the last two years I've traded or sold six instruments and couple of amps on various fora. This is the first time I've been presented with such a dilemma. I almost wish I had TWO SD-50s to sell!
As of yesterday my now former SD-50 is on it's way out west. Thank you wisconsinred!
OH HAPPY DAY, received the SD-50 and I am one HAPPY customer, special thanks to Mazareth for the great communication and excellent packaging. :cheers
You're welcome wisconsinred! I'm glad you're happy with the guitar. I had a band gig last night with the obligatory free drinks. I'll have to wait until this evening to join you in drinking a real beer. I'm sticking with digital ones for a bit yet... :cheers
I'm looking forward to reading your impression about the SD once you've had her for a while.
